Summary
The LIFE CLIMAX PO project (CLIMate Adaptation for the PO river basin district) aims to enhance climate change adaptation through climate-smart water management at the basin scale, supporting the implementation of Italy’s National Adaptation Strategy (SNAC) and National Adaptation Plan (PNACC). The project engages multiple governance levels and stakeholders to strengthen knowledge, capacity, and resilience across the Po River District. Task 4.2 requires ADBPO and each regional administration involved as a beneficiary of the Project to set up a Stakeholder Board involving local authorities, environmental and socio-economic associations, technicians, and civil society in general, assigning them an advisory and informative role on the issues addressed
and activities carried out within the Project. The involvement and consultation of stakeholders, priority actions of Work Package 4 (WP4) – Stakeholder Engagementn and Capacity Building, are two fundamental processes for the implementation of the Project and, in particular, for the development of activities related to governance, funding coordination, capacity building, and technical activities. The report (Deliverable D4.2) therefore aims to document, for the first phase of the Project, the involvement of stakeholders through the Stakeholder Boards in the implementation of the planned pilot actions. This objective is achieved by illustrating the objectives, contents, and participants of the meetings, as well as the various issues that emerged during the individual board meetings
